Summer Learning Journey (Day 4)
This activity is to find a book I have read over the holidays. I have been reading a book called hunger games. It is about a girl and a boy. They are both in teams. They are on a mission. The mission is to stay alive. And try to get out of the place. The only thing is will they complete there missions.

Oh, the Hunger Games! That is a very interesting book. Did you happen to see that 'Catching Fire' was one of the three book options that was posted on the Summer Learning Journey site for Day 4? You are completely in sync with the programme!
What is your favourite part of the book so far? Do you think that other people in your class would like it?

I thought it was a really good read. I actually read some of it on a plane once, so you might want to pack it as well.

I have had a great last few weeks blogging with students, including yourself(!), that are part of the Summer Learning Journey programme. There is still another full week to go before the programme ends and I would love to blog with you again.
If you have time and would like to practice your reading and writing skills before school starts again, please log onto the Summer Learning Journey site and complete an activity (or two!). Hunger games is one of the most interesting book i have ever read, you should continue to read catching fire and mockingjay, perhaps you could try the book divergent it is as good as hungry games.
