Paper Plane

Today we have been flying our paper planes. We had to work collaboratively. We had to pick what we liked from there planes then make it into one plane. We had a pretty long plane but it didn't go as far as  we would like it to but either way it was not as bad as we thought it would be.

Maths / QUIZIZZ

We played a game called quizziz. We played against each other including the teacher's. It was really interesting because we were practising our basic facts and our time's tables.

Maths

I have been practising my maths decimals. This website shows us how we got it correct and how we could of worked it out. This website helps us learn knew things and it teaches us knew strategies. We are really challenging ourselves because it is harder then it looks.

I have been learning about decimals. Decimals are really easy once you get to know them. It's kind of the same as fraction. In my opinion I think that decimals and fraction are the easiest but when it comes to any other maths it's really hard. But if I keep on trying I will get there

Today we have been doing maths equations. Our maths question were based on fraction's. I was working collaboratively with  my mate named Jasmine.  Fractions wasn't her best subject so I helped her. It was really interesting knowing what she does know and what we had to work on. We both had things we had to work on but we then worked together and helped each other out.

In maths today we were learning how to reorganise decimals.  Our learning intention was to learn about decimals in one place and to order decimals (biggest to smallest). We notice that if we know a strategy that we know we can use it to make it easy for us. Did you know decimals are kind of like fractions? In my opinion I think that decimals are easy that I know more about them. Decimals have a tenth and a whole just like fractions. Decimals are amazing and I love decimals because it is great a fun. We then had to write the answer in our book. I really enjoyed our maths session today. I liked collaborating and sharing my ideas with the people I was siting with.

WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING GAME. To do with fractions. I am happy to say that i am proud of my results and I cant wait to play it again.

Eako maths

Today for maths we have been playing eako maths. We have been doing multiplication and division. If we got the question wrong we could go back and try again. I really enjoyed playing eako maths again because its fun and cool.

Today I have been playing a game. I have enjoyed this game because it helps me improve my maths but it also is really fun and I like this game. This game had more question for me to answer but sadly the clock crept up on me. I only get one minute to answer all the question which isn't that much time.

Maths - Juanita & Afu

Yesterday we did an activity which help us on our maths time tables. We found it abit hard doing our 6,7 and 8 time tables hard so we tried to split the number into 5's to make it easier for us. After we did this activity we found our time tables way easier.

My partner and I have been playing maths games. We really enjoyed playing this and we also learnt our place values playing this game. Which means it is a fun learning activity. I enjoyed working with my partner because she is my close friend and we play with each other a lot.

Rounding Code Breaker - Juanita

Thihs week our maths groups word on a code breaker which means to unlock the words with the numbers. Our learning intention was to round whole numbers to the nearest 1, 10, 100 and 1000.

Maths Activity

I think I have done great because I got 20 questions correct in a minute. I thunk I could improve my results by mixing the question. I am proud of my results.

In a minute I got to 16 questions. I just think I need to improve my basic facts so that I can easily answer all the question fast. Since it is my first time trying this activity's I think I have done quite good. I just think that I could do better.

We have been playing maths games today. We have been trying to use our place values to make sure that we are getting better at maths. I did great maths.

I have been doing maths as you can see but I think I could of kept going. This game was really easy so I think that i need to go on a harder journey.

Protect

 We have been practicing our place value. I have been trying hard on this and it paid off because i am doing really great. I am glad that i got 60 out of 60 right which means that I can go on to the next stage. Which is stage 6 as you should no but yeah.

In maths today we have been playing a game called protect. I am pretty sure that I got a good score. I just got 1 wrong. I am really proud of myself because I got 1 wrong out of 60 questions.

This is my maths. We all did this independent so that our teacher can see what we need work on. I enjoyed this because it tested my brain. I thought this was a little easy.
