Long Jump



We have been learning the qualities you need to know for long jump. We learnt that we need to have bent elbows, bent knees and jump off 1 heel and land on two feet. We also learnt that if we jump off one foot and land on too feet it feels like we don't go very far but in fact we go very far.

This was another great learning opportunity Juanita. Did you notice the difference between the standing jump with your arms behind your back and the jump with the run up where you swing your arms? I certainly did!
