Narrative Writing

Today we were focusing around narratives writing because next term in week 3 we will be writing about narratives. We used the narrative criteria. The 1st sentence is about who the main character is. Then the 2nd is about where he/she lives. The 3rd is about sentence describes the characters talent. The 4th sentence is about the problem. The 5th  sentence is about how the character felt and then the last sentence is about how the problem is solved. I worked collaboratively with Javeylor and Evelyn. I think we will do really well and good in our writing assessments. 

Maths / QUIZIZZ

We played a game called quizziz. We played against each other including the teacher's. It was really interesting because we were practising our basic facts and our time's tables.

Visit to the Panmure library

Last week on Friday we meet an amazing funny person named Stig Wemyss. Stig Wemyss is an voice artist he reads Andy Griffins books. He talked about the borrow box. The barrow box is an digital website. He really hooked us in with his humour. He gave everyone a little green poster and then he signed it. He has a website www.stig.com. He seemed really cool and amazing. We had heaps of fun and he make us laugh by reading his story.

Maths

I have been practising my maths decimals. This website shows us how we got it correct and how we could of worked it out. This website helps us learn knew things and it teaches us knew strategies. We are really challenging ourselves because it is harder then it looks.  

Can Do

We have been learning how to do our can do's. We think that the teacher are a great job because they are helping us do our work. We have been introduced. This can do is about sad,happy angry,shy and silly. As you get up the cline you will found more powerful words.

Maths

I have been learning about decimals. Decimals are really easy once you get to know them. It's kind of the same as fraction. In my opinion I think that decimals and fraction are the easiest but when it comes to any other maths it's really hard. But if I keep on trying I will get there

Authors Purpose

 

 Today I have read a text about a dance called tinikling. I have found out what to look for in a informed text. I was learning about PIE (Persuade, Informed and Entertain).
